Photo Scanner What Is The Best Photo Scanner To Buy For 35mm Slides?

What is the best photo scanner to buy for 35mm slides? - photo scanner

Scanner needs to be a good software with it. I have several thousands of slides and old photos that I like to explore. Thank you.

I have a series of slide scanner over the years. The Nikon COOLSCAN is great.
I scan from another manufacturer that had a carousel for scanning multiple slides.

But my favorite so far is what I use now. The Epson Perfection 4990 Photo. I can scan multiple slides (12?) At the same time, each with a high resolution 300 dpi @ 11 "X14" digital ice. NEG 24 scans in a time in 2 4X5 NEG, or up to 8 "x10" transparencies.

It is a flatbed scanner with a light source at the top and bottom.
